Itinerary
Day 1, Khiva/ Dashoguz – Darvaza
- In the morning we will meet with you at the border called “Shavat”, which is between Khiva and Dashoguz cities. The recommended time for you to come to the border is 11:00 o’clock.
- After the procedure of border crossing is finished, we will go by car to the City of Dashoguz and have lunch in a restaurant.
- 14:00, Head towards the Gas Crater Darvaza also called “Gates of Hell”
- 20:00, Reach the Gas Crater and have some time around it before it becomes dark,
- 21:00, Dinner at the Yurts camp with locally prepared Kebabs.
- 22:00, Have another visit to the Gas Crater to enjoy it in the deep dark. If it is not a full moon and the sky is clear you can enjoy beautiful noght sky with Milky Way clearly visible.
- Overnight at Darvaza in traditional Turkmen Yurts.
Day 2, Darvaza – Khiva/ Dashoguz
- 07:00, After the breakfast we will see the Darvaza Gas Crater for the last time.
- If time permits we will visit another two craters, Water Crater and Mud Crater.
- Departure towards the Uzbekistan border near Dashoguz city.
- 14:00, Lunch in Dashoguz city at a restaurant. Menu with Traditional Turkmenistan dishes.
- After the lunch go to the border.
- End of tour!!
