Itinerary

Day 1, Dashoguz (Near Khiva) – Darvaza

  • We will meet with you at the border crossing point “Shavat” between Khiva and Dashoguz on the Turkmenistan side.
  • After passing the border procedures, we will go to Dashoguz city and have lunch there and then spend some time there before leaving for Darvaza.
  • 13:00, Head towards Darvaz gas crater by car (300 km, 7 hours drive, road condition is not very good).
  • 20:00, Reach Darvaza Gas Crater and have some time walking around the Crater.
  • 21:30, Dinner at the camp near the Crater. We will eat Kebabs prepared locally.
  • 22:30 We will have another walk around the Crater.
  • Overnight at Darvaza in Yurts or tents.

Day 2, Darvaza – Ashgabat – International Airport

  • 09:00 After the Breakfast at Darvaza proceed by car to Ashgabat (300km, 5 hours drive).
  • On the way we will see the Water Crater and the Mud Crater. We will also stop at one of the villages to experience the local life.
  • 14:00 Reach Ashgabat and have lunch at a restaurant.
  • 15:30 Start with sightseeing of the Capital City of Ashgabat. We will see Independence Monument, Neutrality Monument, National Museum, Turkish Mosque, Akhalteke horse farm, Bazaar, etc.
  • 20:00 Dinner at a restaurant.
  • After the dinner we will have a short tour around Ashgabat to see the beautiful night illumination of the city.

  • Early in the night of the next day you will have an international flight back home. Transfer to the Intl. Airport.
  • End of the Tour !!!
