Itinerary
Day 1, Khiva – Darvaza (by train)
- We will meet you at the border between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, (Shabat).
- Head to the Medieval city of Kunya Urgench (100km).
- Come back from Kunya Urgench (100km).
- Have lunch at the Dashoguz city.
- 18:00 We will board a night train that goes to Darvaza.
Day 2, Darvaza – Ashgabat
- 01:00 Reach the Darvaza Gas Crater by train.
- Have some time around Darvaza.
- Overnight in yurts by Darvaza.
- 08:30 After breakfast head towards Ashgabat.
- 13:30 Reach Ashagabat and have lunch at a restaurant.
- 15:00 Check-in a hotel and rest for some time.
- 17:00 Start a city tour of Ashgabat city.
- 22:00 Have a dinner at a restaurant.
- Overnight in Ashgabat.
Day 3, Ashgabat – Mary (Merv)
- 10:00 Check-out from the hotel in Ashgabat and head towards the Merv ruins.
- 14:00 Have a lunch somewhere on the way to the Merv ruins.
- 15:30 Start the sightseeing tour of the Merv.
- 17:30 Finish the Merv tour and drive to our hotel in Mary city.
- 18:30 Have a dinner at a restaurant.
- Overnight in Mary city.
Day 4, Mary – Ashgabat
- 08:00 Check-out from the hotel in Mary and head to Ashgabat.
- 13:00 Reach Ashgabat and have lunch at a restaurant.
- 14:30 Start a sightseeing tour of Ashgabat and the vicinity.
- 19:00 Check-in a hotel and then have a dinner at a restaurant.
- 21:00 Have a night tour of the illuminated Ashgabat.
- Overnight in Ashgabat.
Day 5, Ashgabat – Turkmenbashi (Caspian Sea)
- 07:00 After breakfast drive towards Turkmenbashi.
- On the way we will visit Akhalteke horse farm, Kow ata and Nokhur mountain village.
- Have a lunch in Nokhur village.
- 19:00 Reach Turkmenbashi.
- After some sight seeing of the Awaza resort, (largest tourist resort on the Entire Caspian Sea), we will check in a hotel.
- Dinner at a restaurant with seafood from Caspian Sea.
- Overnight in Turkmenbashi.
Day 6, Turkmenbashi – Yangikala – Ashgabat
- 07:00 Check-out from the hotel and head to Yangikala.
- 10:00 Reach Yangikala and have sightseeing for about 3 hours.
- 13:00 Head to Ashgabat. On the way we will have lunch at a restaurant.
- 22:00 Reach Ashgabat and have dinner at a restaurant.
- Overnight in Ashgabat.
Day 7, Ashgabat – Dashoguz (flight) – Khiva
- Early in the morning checkout from the hotel and drive to the international airport.
- Fly to the Dashoguz city (near Khiva, Uzbekistan).
- Have lunch at a restaurant in Dashoguz.
- Go to the border with Uzbekistan (Shabat).
- End of the Tour!!
